Join Cadette Girl Scout Troop and Service Unit 53-2 for National Day of Service at Mason Neck State Park! Volunteer 9:00 - noon or 12:30 - 3:00, or bring your lunch and stay all day. Dress for an active day outside. We will clear brush and leaves from trails, remove any litter from beaches, clean Visitor Center display tanks, etc. Bring work gloves, and perhaps a litter grabber if you have one. The Park will provide all other tools. Please rsvp to Park by Friday (Jan. 17), so they will be sure to have enough tools on hand. Park entrance fee is waived for volunteers that day. (Tell Ranger at Contact Station that you are volunteering for National Day of Service.) Check in at Visitor Center when you arrive. SEE YOU THERE!
