Do you have a couple of hours to help keep Mason Neck State Park beautiful? You can "give back" to the Park from 9 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, September 22, by cleaning up the trash that washes ashore from the Potomac and Occoquan Rivers. You can walk the shoreline or take out a Park canoe or kayak to clean areas that are difficult to get to on foot. The Park will supply trash bags, gloves and some "grabbers" to make the job easier. And the Friends of Mason Neck State Park will supply coffee and light refreshments to help get you started. There is no need to register, but if you are bringing a group, please call the Park at 703-339-2385 to let them know.
