On January 1 we started the new year with invigorating hikes and a bike hike at Mason Neck State Park. The First Day Hikes are an annual event at the Park. The Friends of Mason Neck State Park provided warm drinks and light snacks for the hikers. 126 people participated in the 4 guided hikes, for a total of 345 miles of guided hiking, and a total of 1688 people visited the Park that day!
